This FREE back-to-school block party at Merriweather Post Pavilion features giant chalk art, a live DJ, games, crafts, photo opportunities, food, and more. Bring your friends, and make one last unforgettable summer memory before school starts!

Organized by the Merriweather Teen Council in partnership with MACC staff, local arts organizations, and community partners.

FEATURING:

Chalk Art Drawing - Show off your creativity in chalk art murals and activities.

DJ - A live DJ will keep the energy high, creating a fun atmosphere for dancing and socializing!

Photo Booth - Capture memories with friends at the photo booth.

Caricature Artist - Get a personalized caricature drawn by a professional artist.

Henna Artist - Get beautiful, hand-drawn henna designs from a professional henna artist.

Obstacle Course - Test your skills on our exciting obstacle course, challenge yourself or race your friends.

Keychain/Friendship Bracelet Station - Create custom friendship bracelets and keychains to celebrate friendships and make a personalized back-to-school accessory.

Carnival Games - Challenge your friends and see who gets the top score.

Lawn Games - Join in classic lawn games like cornhole, giant Jenga, and more.

Community Partner Activities - Explore booths from local arts organizations and community partners.

Food Trucks - A variety of eats from local food trucks.
